(GH joint - Glenohumeral Joint, AC joint - Acromioclavicular Joint, Scapulothoracic Joint, surrounding muscles, tendons, ligaments, bursae, etc.)- Prevalence of shoulder pain  4-26% across global communities

Main Causes of Shoulder Pain

1. Traumatic causes - fractures, dislocation, soft tissue injuries, contusion & sprain

2. Atraumatic causes - Degenerative, inflammatory, overuse

We Prevent Shoulder Injuries By

  • Proper load management & muscle strength
  • Avoiding overload beyond tolerance
  • Provide rest & recovery
  • Proper rehab & prevent recurrence
  • Improving proper techniques, regular physical activities and staying healthy
  • Treating the underlying cause of DM, arthritis

There is no universal intervention or protocol applicable to treat all shoulder pain and conditions

Shoulder movement is also dependent on scapula and thoracic region

  • Thoracic rotation
  • Thoracic flexion & extension
  • Scapular movements
  • Shoulder flexion /extension
  • Internal and external rotation

After that, we want to concentrate stability

Next we need to concentrate on strength

  • Shoulder lateral rise
  • Shoulder front rise
